  1. Poignant that I scheduled Dolly singing for Porter before I knew Whitney Houston died, l will always love you written by Dolly for Porter

  2. Yes, Dolly’s version is such a beautiful and honest song, sung so gently, without desperation. She knew she had to move on from a man who tried to control her life, but did not deny the affection she still had for him. Whitney needed more of that shrewd self knowlege.

  3. The sound on that isn’t working, here or on YouTube, in Firefox or Explorer… Strange.
