Boris got blocked!
I was involved, along with other women protesters, blocking Boris Johnson exiting by the back entrance of the GLA building yesterday. The reason we were blocking Johnson was over the election promise he made funding 3 further Rape Crisis Centres in London (there’s only one).
Clare Solomon and Boris Keep Your Promise confronted him about this and he blustered and blundered like the buffoon he is when answering. Boris argued that there will be 3 more Rape Crisis Centres in London but didn’t give a realistic timescale nor any indication where the funding will come from.
A strategy paper was launched in April 2009 calling ‘for action to end violence against women’. The strategy was open for public consultation until yesterday.
It was a great day, vibrant and dynamic, lots of chanting, with some direct action thrown in, it certainly put a spoke in Johnson’s wheel!

Well I,m being deleted but I,ll try again. Allegedly when I was born my father pissed in my mother. That quote was passed but just as I was on my way down to Swindon Newman was contacted and took it down. I was not the person who contacted him, someone else who was disgusted with the personal abuse he allows from keyboard warriors did so. Who would say such a thing? But terry, shouldn’t we be concentrating on violence against the fash instead of calling each other out? Also, I doubt anybody will text on the number you provide unless they wanted to end up on Mossad’s data base.

i) the comment you objrect to was never approved by anyone, we do not screen comments before they appear here - we moderate them afterwards by deleting bad ones - and we have jobs/lives/children/ etc etc - so we are not moderating 24/7. as soon as it was brought to my attention I deleted it
ii) our mutuak friend initialy contacted me because of your threat of violence.
iii) you are welcome to come to swindon anytime you want, you probably owe me a pint for all the aggravation you cause me.

Excellent bit of direct action. Clare is a credit to the SWP! And I rarely credit them with anything, so praise indeed. Boris really is exposed as completely pathetic in this video, with no answers to the questions of concrete funding and timing being put to him.
